Last night's round-up of all things digital in 2012 from Interactive Scotland was very interesting.
Gregor Smith from comScore kicked things off with a presentation packed full of stats and trends. The tablet revolution has clearly started and the slide showing tablet use around 9pm really brought home how important the '2nd screen' has become.
See the whole presentation below, it makes fascinating viewing.
Mark Coyle, who had a key role in the BBC's coverage of the 2012 Olympics, shared some amazing stats about the mix of TV, desktop, tablet and mobile viewing. Most popular events on digital coverage? Indoor cycling followed by Andy Murray winning the tennis, followed by Wiggo.
They also pulled in Donnie Kerrigan from Chunk and Jim Wolff from The Leith Agency to answer questions and give a few predictions for next year - more online sales, more non-PC access, more chargeable news services and maybe full digital film/TV production!comments powered by Disqus
