They list their services as accounting and company secretarial, management infomation, auditing and business assurance, specialist tax and corporate advice; international capabilities, wealth management and business planning, IT strategy, payroll and outsourced bookkeeping.

Requirements

Any company that starts their 40-second elevator pitch with the words "Accountants are perceived as notoriously dull" must have something going for them. Springfords LLP are a little different from your average accountants.

We started working with them a few years ago when they needed help to maintain their existing website.

What we did

Initially, we simply moved their website to our hosting platform, and made a few content modifications. 

We also sorted out some of the website fundamentals, which improved their search ranking significantly.

Springfords are not a company to stand still, though, and soon they were looking at ways they could further promote the company.  

Email marketing looked like a perfect fit, so we re-vamped the website, added news and blog sections to provide email marketing content, then built email marketing templates for their quarterly newsletter and one-off news items. We integrated our Blot CMS so they could update the webpages and news content themselves.

When Google began favouring websites that were responsive to smartphones and tablets, we rebuilt the website with a wider screen width and made it responsive to smaller devices.

Nowadays, they are pretty self-sufficient although we still manage their newsletter, writing copy for it and analysing results.

Springfords are a great example of a company who is always looking for new ways to improve their web presence and market their business.
