ACE provide both property letting services and property sales from their offices in Edinburgh.

Established in 2005, the business has gone from strength to strength and they have a large portfolio of rental properties under management and a growing Estate Agency business.

Requirements

ACE needed a new online presence to match their new branding and to take advantage of some of the newer web technology available.

Internally, they use the CFPwinMan lettings agency software to manage their rental properties, and wanted to be able to load property information and photos from it to their website.

They had also started their Estate Agency business and needed to promote it and the properties they have for sale.

What we did

We spent some time coming up with a design that would promote each part of the business in an easy and intuitive way, so any visitor could quickly get to the information they needed.

The business logically splits into lettings/property management and property sales.  Using the Blot CMS, ACE can manage the sections themselves, modifying and adding pages as an when required.

In addition to building their informational webpages and integrating our CMS, we developed software to upload their available properties from CFP into our web property system on the website.  This means ACE staff only have to enter the information once - into CFP - and it automatically appears on the website. 

On the rental and sales webpages, we use the Google Maps (API) to show the properties on their own map.  Visually, this makes it easy for visitors to quickly see the location of all available properties. By clicking on the map marker for any property, can find out full details and see photos of the property.  They can also save properties they are interested into their own private list, to review later.
