Without good content, your website isn’t worth much. Remember that the site is your face to the world. It has to look good and what is says must be what your audience is looking for – watch out, there can be a big difference between that and what you think they are looking for!

Links - votes for your web site

OK, so you’ve got your web site on the search engines, and that’s good progress. The site content has been set up to be friendly to the search engines, and that’s important too. The next piece in the jigsaw is the link popularity aspect. This is the number and quality of links from other sites that point to your site. Without quality links, your site will never become highly placed in some search engines (more…)

Spear Connect becomes Blot Design Ltd

At the end of December 2005 we changed the name of the company from Spear Connect to Blot Design Ltd. We felt that in 3 years, the company identity had changed considerably and wanted a name that more reflected our ethos.

We also wanted to establish a new brand for our products. In the previous 12 months we had developed our content management and property management software. (more…)
