Social networking growing pains
If, as everyone keeps telling us, social networking is the way of the future, we may have to be just a little bit careful in an environment where anyone can post content of pretty much anything they want.
In a recent case in Italy, three Google employees were found guilty of failing to comply with privacy laws. The details involved a video uploaded to YouTube (owned by Google). In essence the Google employees were held criminaly responsible for the content that was uploaded by a user.
So when people add comments to your blog, Facebook or Twitter account, are you responsible?
