Google goes gambling
Most business people we know are getting
pretty tired of the doom and gloom stories
that seem to be standard fare served up by
our media friends lately, but one little news
snippet caused a smile recently.
Apparently Google are now prepared to run
gambling advertising in the UK. In 2004,
they introduced a worldwide ban on such
advertising, but now have decided to change
that in Britain after rules for TV
advertising for bookmakers and gambling sites
were relaxed.
Google reckon that it will 'enhance the
search experiance for users' and it might
well do, but poor growth figures over the
last few quarters might also have something
to do with it.

| Edinburgh Landlord Day |

This month we were an exhibitor at the Edinburgh
Landlord Day event.
The exhibition, run by the Edinburgh City
Council and
held in the George Street Assembly Rooms is a
great
place to go for landlords and letting agents.
It's held
every year and this year there were over 30
businesses showcasing their property related
services. We were promoting and
demonstrating the
Blot Property System for
property management companies and letting agents.
There is also a full seminar programme with
lots of
tips and information for letting landlords.

you're in the property letting business, make
sure you
get there next year.
