We're constantly improving our software and have just added some enhancements to our Blot Content Management System (CMS) which makes a major difference to the page management

Any CMS must have a way of grouping pages. This is usually done using a page category system that may also have subcategories and even sub-sub-categories. The Blot CMS goes way further than that, allowing for an almost infinite number of categories.

What does this mean for customers? It means that the Blot CMS can now scale from the smallest personal web site up to a huge corporate site, using the same simple and stable interface to update your pages.

When someone tries to access a page on your website that doesn't exist, they get what is called a 404 page error - it just means that the page can't be found.

Why did they try to go to this address? Might have been a mistype, an old link on another site or maybe an old search engine listing.

You could always create a 404 template page to personalise the error, but now Google have created a '404 widget' which can be added to the template and will give your visitor hints about the nearest match to the address they entered or other things to try.
