Kilts across America?
It's a great cause, but this is way beyond
the call of duty.
Our friends Colin Read and Iain Whyte are
going to re-enact the Fonda and Hopper roles
in Easy Rider as they traverse the US on
Harley Davidson motorcycles, raising money
for Moebius Research .....in KILTS!!
Mid-life crisis or just a couple of crazy
Scots?
Yes to at least one and probably both. But it
doesn't matter. When they mount (hirple)
their Harleys and leave the Castle Esplanade
on Friday 27th of June, they will be raising
thousands of pounds for research.

| Google Adwords - is it worth it? |

Recently, a number of clients have expressed
interest in using Google Adwords. The
question is, is Adwords worth doing?
Adwords is a method of search engine
marketing that involves you (the customer)
paying each time a web user clicks on your
listing in the Google sponsored results.
All the major search engines provide a
similar service. It's called pay per click
(PPC).
Whether it is worthwhile for your
business depends on a number of factors. If
you have no search engine presence, this will
automatically take you to the top of the
listings - if you bid enough for the phrase
you want to be found by, and if you don't mind
being in the 'sponsored results' area.
It's great to highlight new sites that have
no search engine presence or new pages.
Our general approach would be to work on the free
listing rankings as the long term strategy
and use the PPC tactics when fast results are
needed.
However, every site is individual and yours
may be ideally suited to PPC
