Newspaper web site traffic on the up
Is the long-expected move from print newspapers to
Internet news really starting to happen?
In the US at least, it looks like that may be starting to
happen. A recent report there shows traffic to
newspaper web sites has increased more than three-

New Picture This site

Straight out of the blocks for 2008 is the new
Picture This site.
The Edinburgh portrait photography service is a great
way to capture those special moments forever,
whether it be family, friends, a birthday, or just for fun!
The service includes the photo session, followed by a
preview session where your best photos are
presented in the preview suite.
Find out here how it works.
The site gallery showcases some of their
recent work
and is really worth a look. You can see the photos in
large resolution and picture your own photos in
similar styles.
Check it out today - you can now even
buy your £55 photo session online.

End of the line for IE6?

There's a growing band of design companies out
there who've had enough of Internet Explorer 6.
Anyone who has coded web sites for multiple
browsers will have 'enjoyed' the disappointment of
pages that work perfectly on Netscape or Firefox and
fail miserably on IE6.
Now that Internet Explorer 7 has been firmly adopted
and shown to be pretty reasonable when it comes to
standards, many companies are now not bothering to
test for IE6.
Besides making development more consistent, there
are quite a few good reasons to stop catering for IE6
and our recent article expands on this.
In the future, if you're an IE6 user, get used to seeing
messages like the one in the above graphic when you
go to
sites.
