What web sites can learn from Andre Agassi
A while back, Andre Agassi was credited with the
quote "Image is Everything". In those days, image
maybe was everything to Andre, but the point
is still relevant, especially in the world of web sites.
A web site is potentially a great marketing place for
your business. However, you've only got a very
short time to catch your visitor's interest. If he/she
doesn't like what they see inside 2-3 seconds,
they're gone and you have missed an opportunity.
So take an objective view of your site. Is it giving
out the right message?
If the answer is NO, you might want to
consider a new design that's customised to your
business.

| Promoting products with a multimedia CD! |

We've recently completed an interesting multimedia
CD project.
This particular CD showcases the
work of Cuban artist Danillo Vinardell. It contains
video, audio and an interactive presentation that the
viewer can control.
CDs like this are a great visual way to promote your
products. They can be given or posted to
prospective customers, wherever they might
be.

| Don't make the same mistake as BMW |

Did you read about Google banning BMW's web site?
It was carried in most of the national papers recently
and I'm sure a lot of people quietly smirked to
themselves over their 'misfortune'.
The point is, however, that there is a lesson there
for
all of us when trying to improve our SE rankings.
That lesson is: don't try to trick the search
engines. Why? Firstly, because there's a good
chance you will get caught. Secondly, you don't
have to. There are lots of bona-fide techniques
available.
Remember, if you get caught, you get banned. And
most of us don't have the clout of BMW to get re-
instated in 3 days. Try 3 months, years......
