Google gets personal
Google seem to be doing everything these days. The
search engine company have recently bought lots
of 'dark fibre' - internet telecommunications
infrastructure - and
rumours abound that they are going to become a
super-ISP.
They've also recently introduced a pay-for-call
feature in the US so that when you click on
certain search results, that will generate a phone call
to you from the advertising company.
But despite their quest for advertising world
domination, they still keep coming out with lots of
useful things.
One is Google Personalised Search.
You can set up you own Google account page with
your choice of favourite information and
Personalised Search will save all your Google
searches for you so that you can replay them any
time you want using a calendar picker.
Could save you some time!!

Perthshire Hospitality at the Royal Hotel

Perthshire is known as the 'Gateway to the
Highlands'. It is one of the most beautiful parts of
Scotland and right in the middle is Blairgowrie and The Royal
Hotel.
Owner Iain McLean and his wife Maureen have spent
the last year improving the hotel and putting plans in
place to make it even better, with a further 16
ensuite superior rooms available in April.
It's the perfect place to make your base for golfing,
fishing, sightseeing, cycling in and around
Perthshire. And if you're looking for a Hogmany
venue a little out of the ordinary, The Royal is just
the place!

Virtual Tours in action

You may remember us talking about how valuable a
website Virtual Tour can be to give your visitors
an 'almost being there' experience.
Recently, with our photographer friends Stewart &
Baxter Photography, we've just completed a
project for Barrett Homes.
This virtual tour shows two different
houses with a number of rooms in each house.
Barratts used the tour to help sell all the houses -
remember 'almost being there'?
If you have a something that you think could benefit
from a virtual tour, get in touch. We can personalise
it to use your own logo and colours and even add
more commands if required.
Note:
A broadband
connection is recommended for the virtual tours as
they need to download large file sizes
